Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what data Ranomics collects when you use the Service at tools.ranomics.com, how we use it, where it is stored, and your rights. The Service is operated by Ranomics, based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

1. What we collect

Account data: email address, a password hash (we never see your plaintext password), an optional one-paragraph description of what you are working on, and timestamps.
Payment metadata: Stripe Checkout handles your card directly. We receive the charge amount, currency, and a Stripe customer / payment-intent ID — never your card number.
Job data: the inputs you submit (e.g. PDB files, sequences, parameters) and the outputs the GPU pipelines generate (e.g. designed structures, scores, logs).
Usage data: wallet transactions, page views, IP address, and user-agent string, used for billing accuracy and anti-abuse.

2. How we use it

We use your data to:

Operate the Service and deliver your job results.
Bill your wallet accurately and reconcile Stripe payments.
Send transactional email (account confirmation, job completion, receipts).
Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and account compromise.
Improve the Service in aggregate. We do not train models on your job inputs.

3. Where it is stored

We rely on the following sub-processors:

Supabase — account credentials, wallet ledger, job metadata.
Stripe — payment processing.
Modal — GPU compute execution.
Cloudflare R2 — object storage for job inputs and outputs.
Resend — transactional email delivery.
Railway — application hosting.

4. Retention

Job inputs and outputs are retained for ninety (90) days after job completion, after which they may be permanently deleted. Account data is retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable archival period after closure for accounting and legal purposes. Wallet-ledger records are retained for seven (7) years for tax and audit reasons.

5. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data with the sub-processors listed above only to operate the Service. We may disclose data when legally required to do so.

6. Cookies

The Service uses session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on the Service itself.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@ranomics.com. Deletion requests are honoured subject to retention obligations above (e.g. wallet-ledger records retained for tax purposes).

8. Children

The Service is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email to the address on file.
