Your wallet is your budget

Fund a USD wallet and that balance becomes your spend cap. Design as many candidates as you want. A large request fans out across GPUs and drains only for the compute it delivers, pausing the moment your balance runs low. No credits, no tiers, no subscriptions. New accounts start with a $5 wallet balance.

How billing works

A wallet, not a subscription

The model is the one you already use on Modal, OpenAI, and Anthropic. You hold a USD balance, jobs debit it at the actual cost of the compute they used, and you top up when it runs low. The whole pricing surface is one number, your balance.

1. Sign up free

Create an account at tools.ranomics.com. Get $5 in your wallet immediately, enough to try any tool on your own inputs before you top up.

2. Fund your wallet

Top up in any amount from $20. That balance is your cap. Your wallet is prepaid, so you can only ever spend what you have funded. Tax is added at checkout where applicable.

3. Design without limits

Request as many designs as you want. Large requests fan out into a campaign across GPUs and bill only for compute delivered. Every form shows the live estimate and your balance before you submit.

4. Auto reload, optional

Save a card to auto reload when balance drops below a threshold. Default off. Limited to one auto reload per 24 hours plus a monthly cap you set, so a runaway loop cannot drain your card.

Unlimited design

The only limit is the balance you fund

There is no cap on how many designs you can run and no per design charge to budget around. Fund what you are comfortable spending, launch a campaign of any size, and it drains your wallet as the compute is delivered. If the balance runs out, the campaign pauses and picks up again the moment you top up. Everything already produced stays downloadable.

Every job and campaign displays a live estimate and your balance before you submit. You confirm or cancel. If a job ends up cheaper than estimated, the surplus returns to your wallet automatically.

Billing safety

No surprise bills

Your funded balance is the ceiling. These guardrails make sure that ceiling is never crossed while you are asleep.

Prepaid, never a surprise

Your wallet is prepaid, so you can only ever spend what you have funded. A campaign pauses the moment your balance cannot cover the next unit of compute. Top up to continue, or download what has already finished.

Pay for compute delivered

Every job places a wallet hold against a live estimate, then settles at the actual compute consumed. Whatever the job did not use returns to your wallet. Failed sub jobs in a campaign are refunded.

Auto reload limits

Auto reload, when enabled, is limited to one charge every 24 hours plus a user set monthly cap (default $1,000). A compromised account or runaway loop cannot drain your card.

Mid run safety

Long running jobs report progress every 15 minutes. If the actual cost runs well past the estimate, you get a warning email so a bad input never runs away quietly.

Failed jobs

It depends on the cause. Infrastructure failures on our side (a Modal pod crash, a tool image bug, a no progress timeout, or our preflight letting bad input through) refund the full hold. Jobs that completed normally but produced zero passing designs, or jobs you cancelled mid run, are billed for the GPU consumed. Ambiguous cases default to refund.

No refunds on top ups

Top ups are final. Unused balance does not expire. Start with a small top up to evaluate the platform if you are unsure.

Want it run for you

Prefer a managed campaign with wet lab validation?

Self serve here is unlimited. If you would rather hand off the whole campaign, a Binder Pilot is the managed option: a fixed scope engagement with a defined deliverable, wet lab handoff if you want it, and a single point of contact. It is a different product, not a spend threshold.

Questions

Pricing FAQ

How does Ranomics Tools billing work?

You fund a USD wallet in any amount from $20, and that balance is your spend cap. Each job debits the actual cost of the compute it consumes. New accounts start with $5 in their wallet. There is no subscription, no seat license, and no fixed tier.

Is there a limit on how many designs I can run?

No. Design count is unlimited and there is no per design charge. Your wallet balance is the only ceiling. A large request fans out into a campaign that drains the wallet as compute is delivered and pauses if the balance runs low.

Can I be auto charged when my wallet runs low?

Yes. Auto reload is opt in and off by default. You set a balance threshold and a reload amount. To protect against runaway billing, auto reload is limited to one charge every 24 hours plus a monthly cap you control.

What happens if a job fails?

It depends on the cause. If the failure is on our side, like a Modal pod crash, a bug in our tool image, our preflight letting bad input through, or a no progress timeout, the full hold is refunded. If the job completed normally but produced zero passing designs, or you cancelled it mid run, you pay for the GPU consumed. Ambiguous cases default to refund.

Are top ups refundable?

No. Top ups are not refundable. Unused balance remains in your wallet and does not expire. Start with a small top up if you want to evaluate the platform.

What about Stripe fees and tax?

Stripe payment processing fees are absorbed by Ranomics. Tax is added at checkout where applicable. Your wallet is credited with the exact amount you topped up.
